133 Bistro

Classic small town vibes. The food, service (Lakoda) and atmosphere exceeded expectations. This is our new stop on the way to Indiana. French toast platter and Club sandwich both recommended.

Open earlier than most restaurants in the area, came in just a few minutes past opening. Staff was friendly and attentive, the food was quite pleasant a bit under seasoned which was expected for the style of restaurant and area. Overall a pleasant experience, I'd recommend others to come in and enjoy as well. The Pancakes were buttery and flakey, bacon was crispy but mild in taste, eggs were cooked perfect to order, the ribeye was underseasoned but cooked to order, and the potatoes were crispy and soft. What looked like a little hole in the wall was decorated a bit modern and cozy, the seating arrangements were spacious. All in all, would definitely stop in again when I'm in the area.

Amazing small town diner with excellent food, excellent staff, and excellent prices. We were in town for an appointment, and... Y'all, we had the best omelets... Greek and Corned Beef... Amazing. We'll be back, and definitely highly, absolutely positively recommend

Today, I visited a lovely bistro in Van wert, Ohio, where it's nestled into a corner next to the court house named 133 Bistro. A lively spot filled with the chatter of locals. We visited around lunchtime around 12:10 to be precise. The nostalgic atmosphere of small town America seeps through the walls and gives you a sense of home feeling. That familiar comfort you know and love. Like coming back home, We were welcomed with a big hello, and that is always a precedent of how your service will be. Also, not long after arriving, there was almost a full house. We started off with what seemed to be a classic appetizer, the Combo Platter that was chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. The chicken was juicy and tender. The onion rings were crispy and not overdone, and the mozzarella sticks were good and had actually melted cheese on the inside for a change. Lol Also (ranch lovers, they have the good ranch!) I do wish we had a little more serving size wise, but it was all delicious! We ordered burgers and fries, and they gave a huge serving of fries! I asked some of the people next to me what some local favorites were, and they told me the Phillysteak sandwiches, breakfast skillets, omelets, Burgers, and their club sandwiches! So I will order one to take home and try! I will say just seeing someone else club sandwich they look delicious and again a huge serving of fries! The waitresses were highly attentive and took great care of us! I needed one thing, and 3 servers jumped to my aide, which is so refreshing! So tip well! They deserve it! Note** I spent more money because I wanted to take home and try a few things it was a very decent bill before I ordered additional items! Take my word and give this place a try!

I almost past this place up, I'm glad I didn't. Their biscuits & gravy were actually really good. The oatmeal was cooked just right. The coffee was kept full & the bathroom was clean. Great place for breakfast.
